Practically, like all the works of the brilliant surrealist, the picture of the Hallucinogenic bullfighter is also a mystery canvas. After this work of painting saw the light of day, the artist himself admitted that the whole Dali is in this picture, since it contains an almost complete collection of images of the great master.

It is very difficult to tell about the plot of the paintings of Salvador Dali - it is necessary to see, since this is magic, a continuous transformation of forms, symbols, colors. Characters bizarrely change roles, and it’s difficult to determine who will turn out to be the next one.

This is followed with admiration by a six-year-old boy - little Dali, looking at the numerous and so different images of Venus de Milo, which, oddly enough, are the terms in the appearance of the protagonist - the bullfighter in the picture. It is difficult to distinguish it at once, but, having looked closely, one can notice that the second Venus, located on the right, forms the face of the torrero. His eye is presented in the form of a woman's head, and his nose is the breast of Milos. A shadow on her stomach, nothing more than a bullfighting hero’s mouth.

It is in the spirit of the Spanish creator, drawing details of the clothes of the bullfighter. His shirt is the garment of a beautiful sculpture, and the green shadow just below the mouth of the torrrero acts as a tie. And finally, on the left side of the image you can see the bullfighter’s jacket, made on the background of peculiar rocks, where the head of the defeated bull rests.

Such is the original geography of the picture, but in addition to the mentioned actors, other details stand out on the canvas, so to speak, secondary, but even more emphasizing the multifaceted world of images that inhabit the paintings of Salvador Dali. The top of this picture, written, by the way, in 1968-70, is adorned with the head of the artist’s wife and his eternal muse - Gala, without which it would be clearly incomplete.
